The housing crisis in Hungary is making life difficult for millions of people and is causing extremely damaging trends, both economically and environmentally. Therefore, at the Periféria Center, our priority is to identify the causes of the housing crisis and find ways out of this crisis. We work for a future where affordable, good quality, environmentally sustainable housing is available to all. In addition to doing research on global and local housing processes, we also carry out concrete applied projects, regularly make public policy proposals and organize alternative community-led housing model programmes with our allies.
