The Alliance for Collaborative Real Estate Development (ACRED) does nonprofit and community-based real estate development and building management. The founding members of ACRED - among them Periféria Center - are organisations with missions connected to the issue of nonprofit and community-based real estate development, but implementing this in practice is not the focus of their activities. Thus, they established ACRED to step into this niche of practice. ACRED works on residential projects, and also on community spaces and work spaces, embedded in the ecosystem of solidarity economy in Hungary.

ACRED is a member of MOBA Housing SCE, a regional umbrella organisation promoting the development of new (rental-based and limited equity) housing cooperatives in the Central and South-Eastern European region. Furthermore, MOBA is working on an internal financial mechanism for new housing cooperative projects, which will be available to its members.
